Canadian Forces Military Police Academy (CFMPA)
CFMPA was established 1 April 1999 when the Intelligence Training Company was detached from the former Canadian Forces School of Intelligence and Security. At this time the unit was transformed into a distinct Military Police/Security training establishment.
The primary mission of CFMPA is to provide career and specialist training to Regular and Reserve Force members of the Military Police Branch and security-related training to non-Branch personnel of the Regular and Reserve Forces. CFMPA also provides training to personnel from other government and law enforcement agencies and to foreign nationals under the Military Training Assistance Program.
CFMPA is currently located in the north end of the base with the Academy Headquarters situated in Building O-169.
