CF-101 VOODOO

The VOODOO is a supersonic all-weather fighter interceptor. It is powered by two Pratt and Whitney J-57 gas turbine engines with afterburners. The CF-101 VOODOO was replaced by the CF-188 Hornet in late 1984.

F-86 SABRE

The F86 Sabre was the premier swept - wing fighter interceptor during the 1950's. The highly popular aerobatic display team, the famous Golden Hawk flew Mark 5 Sabres. The Mark Sabre 6 (390 flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force) was powered by the Orenda "14" engine which generated 7,440 lbs of thrust. Other characteristics included:

F-86 SABRE

CS 2F-2 TRACKER

Designed by Grumman the Tracker was Canada's first multi-role maritime aircraft. Delivery into Canadian naval service began in 1957. Flying with the Royal Canadian Navy Squadrons aboard the carrier HMCS Bonaventure, the Tracker had the capability to search out and destroy submarines.
