Civilian Human Resources Office (CHRO)

Reporting to the Ontario Service Centre in Toronto, Borden's Civilian Human Resources Office has an extensive client base. It provides civilian human resource advice and guidance to all Borden's military and civilian managers and supervisors. Questions related to Staffing, Classification, Compensation, Staff Relations, Official Languages, Employment Equity, and Training are all handled by the staff on issues affecting the 1,000+ indeterminate, term, or casual hires at Base Borden. The office is located on the first floor of Building O-109.

The local Canada Employment Centre (CEC) no longer maintains inventories of applications for employment. When the Civilian Human Resources Office submits a request for referrals to the CEC, the job is posted in their Job Information Centre in order to recruit individuals.

Non Public Funds (NPF) Employment

NPF provides employment opportunities for hundreds of people throughout our outlets. The Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA) Human Resources Office Borden is located at building S-138 on Rafah Crescent, room 207. Interested candidates are welcome to visit the office during normal business hours. Staff is available during normal business hours to accept resumés for employment, assist in your employment search and answer any questions you may have concerning NPF employment.
